The Transportation and Utilities Committee considers matters including but not limited to: 

  • Capital Improvement Programs
  • River Basins & Levees
  • Solid Waste & Recycling
  • Sewer & Stormwater Management
  • Street Lighting & Signalization
  • Street Local Improvement Districts in coordination with, but not limited to, the Public Safety, Community and Economic Development, Finance and Administration Departments
  • Streets & Sidewalks
  • Transit
  • Transportation & Transportation Plans
  • Utility Franchises
  • Utility Rates
  • Water Supply
