PUBLIC NOTICE

SR410 E TO NACHES STREET

UTILITY AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Commencing May 12, 2008 the City will begin a construction project consisting of both utility and street improvements to Main Street from SR410 E to Naches Street.

Phase I of the project is scheduled to begin Monday, May 12, 2008 and will include replacement of the existing water main on the south side of Main Street from SR410 E to 4th Street. This project is currently planned to take 20 working days to complete. Residences currently served by this water main may experience short term service interruptions, but will be notified by the City or Contractor at least 24 hours prior to any of these planned interruptions.

Phase II of the project is scheduled to begin approximately June 16-20, 2008 and will include grinding and removal of the existing roadway surface and application of a new 2" asphalt overlay to Main Street from SR410 E to Naches Street. Traffic delays and access limitations may be experienced throughout both phases of this construction.
