How to Participate in
Buckley City Government
The City of Buckley
understands the value of community input to assist in decision-making.
To make it easier for the community to share its opinions, the city has
enabled a number of ways to participate. Citizens are invited and
encouraged to attend all public meetings. Disabled persons who need
special accommodations should contact the City Clerk's Office at
(360) 829-1921 x200, three business days before the scheduled meeting
time.

Public Meetings |
All
Planning Commission,
City Council, and
Committee meetings are open
to the public and the public is invited to attend. The
Planning Commission occasionally holds work sessions and
invites active participation by the community.

notices,
history,
staff, and other aspects of City government is contained on
the website in the
Government section. In
addition, the Citys

City Council
Meetings |
Meetings are held
second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose
Center, 811 Main St, Buckley.
Agendas are available at City Hall, posted on City bulletin
boards or on the web at:

Presentation Guidelines at City Council Meetings |
Citizens may
speak about items on the Council
agenda during the public
participation portion of the meeting.
- The Mayor will ask for comments
from the audience.
- To speak on items on the Council
agenda, please sign up at City Hall no later than the
Wednesday prior to the the Council meeting at which you
wish to speak. If you wish to speak spontaneously at a
Council meeting - great! However, the Council likely
cannot take action if you have not signed up in advance,
because time is needed to properly deliberate the
information presented.
- You may submit letters by mail,
e-mail or call the City Hall at (360) 829-1921 x200 with
your concerns or issues.
